Congratulations, ECOT Class of 2013 graduates! We’re SO proud of all of you!
We wish you all the best, and be sure to stay in touch!
ECOT is welcoming Justice Terrence O’Donnell as the guest speaker for its upcoming graduation ceremony. O’Donnell will address ECOT’s Class of 2013 – the single largest graduating class of any high school in the nation – on Sunday, June 9, at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus.
O’Donnell will join the ranks of several high-profile previous commencement speakers for ECOT’s annual June ceremony, including Governor John Kasich, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Jack Hanna, Director Emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
This year’s commencement celebration will also feature a pre-ceremony concert by New Hollow, an Ohio-based band, whose three members are all currently enrolled at ECOT. They will also sing The Star-Spangled Banner live for the first time since November 2010, when they performed at the nationally televised Thanksgiving Day football game between the New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Cowboys.
We will also share live updates from the commencement of Justice O’Donnell’s speech, New Hollow’s concert and the ceremony via Twitter (@ECOTSchool).
